7500 Euro für Forschung zu ALS – PD Dr. Alberto Catanese ausgezeichnet

Der Ulmer Forscher PD Dr. Alberto Catanese ist mit dem Felix-Jerusalem-Preis der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Muskelkranke ausgezeichnet worden. Der mit 7500 Euro dotierte erste Platz wurde am Freitag, 8. März, auf einem Kongress für Neurowissenschaften an den 34-Jährigen vergeben. Catanese forscht am Institut für Anatomie und Zellbiologie der Uni Ulm zur Amyotrophen Lateralsklerose (ALS), einer nicht heilbare Erkrankung der Bewegungsnervenzellen, die zur Muskellähmung führt.
