Neuartige Steuerung von Prothesen mit Quantentechnologie im Fokus: Q.ANT und Fraunhofer IPA gründen Kompetenz-Zentrum

Am 7. März haben das Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnik und Automatisierung IPA und das Technologieunternehmen Q.ANT einen Vertrag zur Gründung des Kompetenz-Zentrums Mensch-Maschine-Schnittstelle unterzeichnet. Ziel der Kooperation ist es, feinste Nervensignale aus Muskelaktivitäten zu detektieren, daraus entstehende Informationen zu interpretieren, um damit Maschinen und Geräte anzusteuern. So könnten sich künftig etwa Handprothesen intuitiv steuern lassen.
